Portrait of Ian Farr, licensed therapist at Oak and Anchor Therapy

About Ian Farr MFT

As a licensed therapist, my goal is to help individuals, couples and families work through difficult times and to sort out challenges in their present relationships. While we can't go back and change difficult situations from the past or erase painful memories, we can work together to better understand them and to resolve the present challenges in life.

I practice primarily from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy perspective. I also utilize EMDR, Client Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy modalities. With 20+ years of experience, I help clients achieve more vitality as they focus on what truly matters most in life, even in the face of anxiety, depression and other mental and emotional difficulties.

If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation, or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. Please call or email me for an individual or couples therapy consultation today.
