Therapy for anxiety and trauma
We provide virtual therapy for adults throughout California, using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These evidence-based approaches can help you develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions, process painful experiences, and move toward a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with what matters most.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you're welcome to bring any questions you may have about the process. A free consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns, learn more about my approach, and determine whether working together feels like a good fit.
Two approaches. Room for your experience.
ACT and EMDR are the primary approaches we use for anxiety and trauma. A consultation is an opportunity to ask about each approach and discuss what you’re looking for.
ACT
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
ACT focuses on changing how you relate to difficult thoughts and feelings, rather than needing to eliminate them. It also helps clarify your values and explore actions that move you toward a meaningful life.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
EMDR is a structured therapy that works with distressing memories and their present-day effects. It includes preparation and guided processing, often using side-to-side eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation.
Start with a conversation.
You don’t have to decide everything before reaching out. A free 15-minute consultation is a chance to ask questions and explore whether this practice is a good fit.
